Natalia Mariel Gomez (Dancer)

Natalia Mariel Gomez was born in 1987 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She graduated as a performer and dance maker from the San Martin Theater of Buenos Aires. At the moment Natalia is a grant artist from the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) from 2010 to 2011 to attend the Master Program in Contemporary dance and pedagogy at the HfMDK Frankfurt am Main. Her seeking spirit and her interest in the laboratory of movements allowed her to participate in different experiences of choreographic composition, improvisation and performances    in    Argentina,    Sweden,    France    and    Germany. Formation in Modern dance techniques: Laban, Graham, Cunningham and Muller. She studied with Marina Giancaspro, Ines Armas, Andrea Chinetti in Argentina and in New York at the Alvin Ailey School 2007. Her strength is in contemporary techniques as Flying Low, Contact Improvisation and Release on which she worked with Dalila Sprits, David Zambrano, Roberto Galvan, Andrea Fernandez, Lance Gries and others. Her movement research in improvisation allowed her to explore Instant Composition with Julyen Hamilton and Fabiana Capriotti. Her passion is Contemporary Partnering and her mentor: Roberto Galvan for whom she assisted in
Stockholm during the summer 2009. Along her way she complemented her practice with an intensive training of Yoga, Eutonie and Buddhism which she integrated in her teaching of dance. More information under:
